How does the DSH work?
Technology now allows for enough energy to harnessed that it makes a huge impact on energy costs and GHG emissions. The key was to be able to save summer heat for use in winter and dark days. No-one had yet devised an economical way to do this. Eventually a way was devised and a patent finally granted in 2012.
In its most simplistic way, this how the system operates. It can be massively scaled up or down but at the moment must be installed in a new home/bldg in the design stage. Existing hydronic heating systems may be capable of being retrofitted.
